Morocco and Zambia Discuss Stronger Bilateral Cooperation

Morocco continues to expand its diplomatic and economic partnerships across Africa.
Rabat – Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita met today in Rabat with Caleb Fundanga, the special envoy of Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema.
Fundanga carried a written message from President Hichilema to King Mohammed VI which reflects the ongoing cooperation between the two countries.
Samuel Munzele Maimbo, a member of the Zambian delegation, described the message as part of efforts to reinforce the strong ties between Morocco and Zambia.
He noted the deep appreciation of President Hichilema for King Mohammed VI’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
The meeting, attended by Eliphas J. Chinyonga, head of Zambia’s diplomatic mission in Morocco, provided an opportunity to discuss ways to deepen cooperation.
Maimbo stressed the importance of ongoing dialogue, noting that Morocco and Zambia share a common vision for Africa’s development.
“At the heart of this cooperation lies an open exchange of ideas on how to advance the continent,” he said.
Morocco continues to expand its diplomatic and economic partnerships across Africa, with a focus on cooperation in key sectors such as trade, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Through strategic agreements and high-level exchanges, the country reinforces its role as a bridge for regional development.
